Accessibility statement

Last updated: 2 July 2026

Many of the people we serve are at or past retirement age, and some prefer not to do things digitally at all. This site is built to WCAG 2.1 AA, and every step of our service has a non-digital alternative.

What we've built in

  • Full keyboard navigation, including the forms and the typed-signature authorisation flow.
  • Visible focus states on every interactive element.
  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 against its background.
  • Large tap targets and readable text sizes on phones and tablets.
  • A skip-to-content link for screen-reader and keyboard users.
  • No auto-advancing content, no time limits on forms, and no text embedded in images.
  • Plain-English content — we avoid jargon, and explain scheme terms where we can't.

Prefer not to use a website?

Every step — enquiry, authorisation and document exchange — can be done by post instead. Use the postal pack request and we'll send printed forms with return guidance. The service and the fee are the same whichever route you choose.

Known limitations

The free self-audit guide is currently supplied as a PDF, which may be harder to use with some screen readers. If you'd like its content in another format, email us and we'll provide it. We test the site against WCAG 2.1 AA as we build; if something has slipped through, we treat reports as priority fixes.

Tell us if something doesn't work

If any part of this site or our service is difficult to use, email contact@auditmypension.co.uk. We'll respond within 3 working days, offer you an alternative way to complete what you were trying to do, and fix the underlying issue.
